Programs installed on computers in FGV’s laboratories at its sites in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and the Federal District that require a high data processing and/or memory capacity are already installed on the Academic Cloud. Thus, FGV students already use the Academic Cloud, automatically and transparently.

When students need to use ICT resources to do their research work, they can use the Academic Cloud, by requesting special hardware and software configurations or sharing existing resources.

In these cases, the professors or researchers overseeing the students’ research should report their needs to the person responsible for ICT services at the school.
